Welcome to Curriculum Castle!

We are sisters with a passion for education and love of learning. In 2012, we co-founded Curriculum Castle with a mission to create engaging, hands-on activities that inspire the youngest students to be life-long learners.

On our website you will find ideas, crafts, printables and digital activities for preschool and early elementary students. It is our hope that we save teachers and parents time while bringing FUN to children with our resources.

Hi, I’m Yvette!

I’ve spent my entire professional career in elementary education and helping students reach their full academic potential. I graduated from California State University Northridge in 2007 with a BA in Liberal Studies and minor in Literature.

Afterwards, I went on to receive my Professional Clear Teaching Credential for grades K-6. I taught in a multi-grade classroom for 6 years before starting a business with my sister making educational materials and lessons for young learners. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and daughter.

Our favorite activities include exploring nature, going for drives along the beautiful California coastline and giving lots of love and attention to our rescue animals. We have rescued 2 dogs, a cat and a tortoise in the last few years. They bring us so much joy!

Hi, I’m Jessica!

As a mom of two boys, I love watching children develop and learn about the world around them. In 2003, I graduated California State University Northridge with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

After working in the sales and training world for 10 years, I decided to stay home with our oldest son, while expecting our second little blessing. During that time, I went back to school to study Early Childhood Education. It has been a dream come true to work with my sister and create resources that have helped my own children as well as many others in classrooms around the world!

I love spending my free time volunteering in the classroom and reading books with my boys. My happy place is at the beach with my family or any hiking trail that ends with a waterfall!
