Thanksgiving Turkey Treat Tags {FREE}
If you are looking for the cutest little Thanksgiving turkey treat tags, then you have come to the right place! Before your students leave for Thanksgiving break, send them off with a special treat. These “treats” can be a variety of things and you can change it up every year depending on your budget or class size.
What to Add to Your Thanksgiving Bags
Some of our favorite items to gift students include:
- candy corn (which we like to call “turkey toes”!)
- Fall themed pencils or erasers
- stickers
- play dough
- Autumn Trail Mix
The candy corn should be easily found at many stores around Halloween time! We like getting the variety that include little pumpkins and different colored candy corn for a more festive fall look. If you want to give non-food items, our kiddos love these Thanksgiving stationary sets that we found on Amazon! The pencils and stickers have the cutest little turkey graphics on them and even come with notepads. They are sold in sets of (12) so usually just buying two sets covers gifts for the entire class!
Some years, we like to make this Autumn/Thanksgiving Trail Mix (from I Heart Naptime) to put into our treat bags. It is easy to make and looks so appealing with the different fall colors and shapes all mixed together. This mix has quickly become one of our favorites to make not just for our students, but also for our friends and family during this time of year.
Assembling the Thanksgivings Turkey Treat Tags
Here’s what you will need to make the bags:
- turkey snack toppers (color or black & white)
- scissors
- stapler
- snack-sized bags
Once you have decided what treats to put in your bags, you can now get ready to print the toppers. First, print the turkey toppers in color or black & white. The black & white option can be printed on color paper. You will see that there are 4 tags to each page. Next, cut the tags out and fold them down the center. Then, fill a small snack sized bag with desired treats. If you don’t have snack size bags, you can use any clear bags and just fold them to about the size of the topper. Finally, place the topper over the top of the bag and staple!
